Once a satellite office of Redeemer Counseling Services, 2200 Arch Counseling Services is now an independent counseling ministry supported by several local churches in Philadelphia. It provides professional, biblically-based counseling for individuals, couples, and families.

2200 Arch Street Counseling Services staff is professionally trained and will draw upon their formal education and experience to address the unique mental, emotional, spiritual and relational needs of each person. They are committed to a Christian perspective in dealing with mental health issues, yet they are sensitive to perspectives of other belief systems.
In addition to the specialty areas highlighted in their profiles, all counselors are well-equipped to see individuals, families and couples with a wide variety of presenting issues. The counseling staff is also certified in the Prepare/Enrich Inventories for both couples and premarital counseling.

Esther holds a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from Wheaton College and has completed additional training in the Biblical Counseling program at Westminster Theological Seminary. Esther's approach to counseling is shaped by her experiences working in community counseling, church ministry, psychiatric settings as well as drug and alcohol rehab settings. Esther works with individuals, couples, families, children and adolescents. She counsels in areas including, but not limited to: depression, anxiety disorders, substance addiction, anger, relationship issues, parenting and bereavement.
Esther is married and has two young children. She enjoys trying new foods, cooking, baking and spending time with her children.

Liz received her Master of Arts in Counseling from Biblical Theological Seminary in Hatfield, PA. She completed her undergraduate degrees at Philadelphia Biblical University. Liz counsels with individuals, couples, children and adolescents on a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, anger, relational issues, and abuse. She also has experience with cross-cultural workers, international scholars, and healthcare students. As a member of the Association for Play Therapy, Liz often uses play and other expressive activities to counsel children, young adults, and families.
Liz is a member of Tenth Presbyterian Church. She loves running the Schuylkill Trail, hiking near waterfalls, singing, reading, and eating food from around the world.

Arlene received her Master of Arts in Counseling from Westminster Theological Seminary in Glenside, Pennsylvania. Arlene is experienced in counseling creative arts professionals and people facing issues of singleness and dating, sexual abuse, self-image and eating disorders, depression, incorporating faith in the workplace and premarital counseling.
Prior to becoming a counselor Arlene worked for 18 years in the advertising industry in New York and San Francisco. She now lives in Philadelphia and manages as well as counsels at 2200 Arch Counseling Services. Arlene enjoys cooking for her mom and friends, wine-tasting, and loves music, theater, dancing, traveling, and the great outdoors.
